My Razer mouse died a few months back and I read that the brand's quality had taken a nose-dive, so decided to look further afield. As it happened, I for some reason clicked into a gaming-hardware related newsletter I've never bothered cancelling, despite not playing games for... well, years, and saw a mouse on offer. Looked at it - it was very well reviewed, but looked like complete arse, but I thought 'fuckit' and bought one.
It looks even worse in person - like, really cheap, and in use not helped by the fact that my hands get grubby at work and the rubber pads you can stick on the sides are now a horrid-looking black colour, but... this is probably the best mouse I've ever used. It's like it's not there - it's so light, just the right sort of small and the accuracy and pace its got are wonderful.
They do come in solid variants that I imagine look a lot better...

- (Oh, and because it's a gaming mouse, it's fairly customisable, including turning that fucking light off).Nairn
