  'Another tough day at immigration Court in NYC. A couple from Ecuador seeking asylum were granted another year by the judge but ICE agents snatched the husband and detained him, throwing the mother to the ground in front of their kids and ordering them to leave the building. The woman cried, “Please don’t send him back, he’ll be killed”. I’m still trying to absorb what I witnessed and understand the level of violence and cruelty. We will look back at this period and ask ourselves how did we let this happen.'
