The real explanation could be something like...a guy from a conservative Mormon family, immersed in gun culture and basically trained to be a supersoldier from a young age.
But then he rebels against his background, discovers Reddit and 4Chan and ends up in a relationship with a trans furry.
Their conservative Mormon families can't accept who they are, which is why there's no trace of his new lifestyle on his mom's FB page. So he lashes out at the guy on the internet who he thinks is preaching hate against people like him, Charlie Kirk.
