I'm back from a trip to Wales and as well as digging for records, visiting friends, caves, etc I also came across an Elephant Hawk-moth caterpillar which are one of the oddest wee beasties I have come across in the wild.
- haha had the same reaction when I came across it last year on my property, so massive and bizarre._niko
