August is shaping up to be a good month for digging at fairs and auctions and on Scottish fields.
Great rare Scottish psychedelic, gospel rock find in a box at the auction last week, it hardly ever turns up in such clean condition and there were never many pressed, £60 well spent.
I found a copy of this spoken word album a year or so ago but I'll have to flip it now as this fresh copy is in better condition and has this large bizarre triangular sticker on the front!Under priced (£15) record fair find last weekend, it's not a pink label copy but an EX+ pink rimmed palm tree issue, a sweet keeper.

Some fella at the record fair had a huge box labelled "folk for a quid", I spent quite a bit with him and this wee gem was amongst them. He told me no-one buys folk records anymore, which I thought was odd.
I never turn my back on a Budgie LP.One of the rarest albums I have found this year is this Prog Jazz monster from 1971.
A few of the car boot 7" finds
A Hawkwind single I had not heard of.
Bought for the title, obviously
Bought for the (South African) sleeve obviously.
One off release by an Aberdeen power-pop band.
