Haven't been focusing on my usual habits for way too long, been in the mid 170s most of the past year, not tracking macros, not exercising enough.
Going to a wedding soon and a few weeks ago tried on the suit I'm wearing, which I bought when I weighed around 164. Super tight, didn't feel good. Realized I needed to crack down, and I've gone from 172.6 to 165.6 in the past month, and 170.4 to 165.6 in the past week.
How:
- Intermittent fasting (keeps me from snacking in the evenings)
- Avoidance of sugar
- Tracking my macros and sticking to my 1,700 cal totals except for maybe one cheat day.
- No beer except maybe on Friday or Saturday (I LOVE the sugar free Finnish Long Drinks, so I have those if I want during the week, and they're 100cal and no carbs)
- Consistent Peloton rides and outdoor rides (rode 16 miles last night, burned 1,300 calories)
- Fat burner at noon when I break my fast, makes me feel full for hours. I take Burn XT, it's loaded with caffeine and I used to avoid stim fat burners, but this works well and is nice and cheap at $28 a bottle compared to so many other alternatives. https://www.amazon.com/Burn-XT-C…Feeling so good. Kind of pissed that I bought some new clothes recently when I was around 174. I feel so much better in the 160s, and accomplishing this makes me so much more relaxed.
