    DC's 'Absolute...' series has been really good so far. Best of all, for me, is Wonder Woman - like Daniel Warren Johnson's truly incredible mini-series, this takes WW in inspired directions.

    Raised in Hell by Circe, she has the power of the Amazons but is also a disciple of dark sorcery. Artwork is top-tier, with Diana actually looking like she is from the Mediterranean rather than a Photoshopped WWE wrestler. Writing is excellent throughout, with great dialogue and perfectly-placed one-liners. One of the (very) few books I look forward to each month.
