Seems a lot of this war is just show.

The Trump administration expected Iran to retaliate after US strikes on its nuclear sites, a White House official told CNN. “We knew they’d respond—just like after Soleimani,” the official said. Trump currently seeks to avoid further escalation, though he's open to military action if needed.

Also Trump apparently informed Iran 2 days prior the attack on its nuclear facilities so the Iranians had enough time to evacuate. Hence the many trucks lined up that were seen on the satellite images. They could evacuate gear and uranium.
