I am looking at getting my hands on an op1, second hand obviously, but I have been seeing lots of videos of charge ports being broken, or not working correctly. I have also seen the part and swap isn't too tricky but I am always skeptical about buying a second hand anything...

Have any of you guys had any issues with your op1? Guessing that some of you (other than Nate) have possibly owned one or still do

At 600 UK squiggles (start price) they're not a cheap risk for 2nd hand electronic device.

    • I have not had issues, now on my 3rd OG op1 haha. The main gripe for me was always just the limitations (Mono) but it definitely has a charm and character ...mantrakid
    • unto itself. I would just make sure to do the test feature before buying to make sure all the knobs / keys work correctly.mantrakid
    • Ahh good shout. How do you the test feature? Or is it just something you do yourself?cruddlebub
    • Yeah check out this page: https://teenage.engi…...

Basically run the TE Boot, then theres a feature test to make sure it works!
