Is it just me, or does AI/chatGPT **LOVE** to help u write code. Like, I needed to do some apache server command line stuff and it went like... Me: Ok AI, I need to- AI: HOLD ON MUTHAFUCKA I WAS BUILT FOR THIS
- My biggest issue with ChatGPT and similar is that they never push back. They just do what you want, even if it’s shit, and even if you ask its opinion first.monospaced
- Always so fucking happy and quick to execute even when you aren’t.monospaced
- Example, writing. “What do you think about moving that point to the beginning? Good or not?” Gpt: okay here it is at the top!!!monospaced
- Literally anything you ask it opinion wise is always “that’s great, and here’s a bulleted list explaining why.”monospaced
- I've never actually used chatGPT I've only ever used Perplexity.AI Maybe my experience would be different if I used actual chat GPT.cherub
- I assumed they were similar but maybe they are not.cherub
- "apache server command line stuff"
- no fucking idea what i just did.******** - well next time u can install the lets encrypt and I can chill on qbn. Deal?cherub
- yeah just like i said no idea. you install certbot on apache, otherwise you're going to get fucked every 3 months.********
- @mono I've found that it actually depends on which model you use, re: pushback. The more reasoning-oriented ones don't tend to be puppy-like.Continuity
- It's really 4o that wants to be your buddy and a yes-man.Continuity
