Lol @ talking about reality as if it exists

    • It's not that reality doesn't exist it's that it can't be perceived. The ideal of reality is a meta-model, a model inside our model.palimpsest
    • Reality isn't something you grasp, it's something you relate to.palimpsest
    • so u grasp the relations ?neverscared
    • I think we should focus on the relations over entities.palimpsest
    • As per Metzinger: We don't see the model, we see through it.
That is how we are able to perceive ourselves as "real".

    • maybe.. i guess a dynamic between the two is favourable .. reality is probably metacognition from non perceivable metrics to measurable ones..neverscared
    • I can't wrap my head around "measuring non-perceivable metrics".
I'm not saying reality doesn't exist, I just don't think we have direct access to it.

    • We’re always embedded within a model, and that model privileges interactions. So rather than trying to uncover 'reality' as a thing...palimpsest
    • it’s more fruitful to study how things relate, where experience arises.palimpsest
    • Either that or pimp your Etsy page.palimpsest
    • atoms and nanoscale were once an unpercievable metric.. now its uncovered and u have direct access... thats pretty fruitful.. if u will it was a nonneverscared
    • The same way a full wine glass always existed but was never part of the model.palimpsest
    • cognitionable and not real before... except for the greeks in theory... besides physic mumble jumble..degenerated reality is when u look into the white house.neverscared
    • not really .. a wine glas u can measure without any technology but an atom not... and thats a difference that makes a difference .. in cogntion to build a modelneverscared
