- I'm interested to put this whole USA egg thing into perspective. Here in the UK we pay around $2.60 for a pack of 6 eggs. How much is it there?HAYZ1LLLA

- and most of the cost muct be transport. i went to see a mate in radnor the other day, he tipped me the wink that his neighbour grew eggs for that fancy brandhans_glib
- clarence court or whatever it's called. i picked up a tray of 36 eggs from the shed at the bottom of his drive for £4....hans_glib
- ...only a little more than what a box of six goes for in the shops. then again you do have to drive to radnor to get that price....hans_glib

- I've never paid more than $4.50 for a DOZEN eggs. That was peak. Previously they were $3.00 or so.monospaced
- This is an outlier—we need more data to call it a trend. It's only slightly higher than Feb '23. Why were so many intercepted that year? Bird flu/costs also?cotton
- The jump from Feb '22 to Feb '23 is higher than Feb '24 to Feb '25.cotton
