    Cefalu is nice, you've got it on the photo. Take a boat trip to the Eoli Islands from there.

    In Palermo, check out the interior of Hotel Ballaro, formerly Orientale. Walk up the stairs, it's incredible. Stay there if you haven't yet.

    In Trapani, take a funicular up the mountain to Erice. If you have the time, take a ferry to the island of Favignana, and stay there for a day or three.

    Get on top of mount Etna if you can.
