Trump and Vance are a disgrace. But at least the cravenness is there for everyone to see now...I don't think most people or even most Americans support this.

    • Clearly, most Americans do. Trump won the popular vote, along with the electoral college vote, and now he's in office.Continuity
    • People who voted for him knew exactly what they were voting for.Continuity
    • Some of them did but others are just confused and ignorant. The same electorate has an 80% negative view of Putin.yuekit
    • Oh, I'd like to see that data.Continuity
    • some did. Many just wanted their grocery to cost less. they're about to get fuckedHAL9001
    • google reasons why people voted for trump, there's data available. All the main reasons are economical reasons... inflations and shitHAL9001
    • trump will give them exactly the oppositeHAL9001
    • Continuity -- one example from last year

    • He tipped the vote when he really leaned into the racists and nationalist fucktardsmonospaced
    • They just wanted cheaper eggs and got a global alt-right dictatorship.yuekit
    • You're gonna have to do better than that, yuekit. This isn't current data, at all.Continuity
    • You think people flipped their views in less than a year?yuekit
    • Yup.Continuity
    • In my town alone he flipped it entirely on immigration. Trump rallies all the time and good people became nationalist clowns overnight. Fear mongeringmonospaced
    • Straight up fear of immigrant invasion, liberals changing kids sexes in elementary school, and pure lies. Basically, pr2 in a nutshell.monospaced
    • Nobody cited economy really.monospaced
    • But on a national basis, prices have gone up a lot. I don't think it's an accident that Trump won lower class people this time.yuekit
