Thinking about getting some Airpods Pro.
Before I do: I use wired Apple Earpods. What i like is that they are made in a way so I can hear my surroundings as well as the audio.
Apparently, Airpods have a passthrough mode. How well does that work in comparison?
- You can control the past through and it works very well It doesn’t sound exactly the same as the wired because the AirPods fit snug in your ears********
- I use both every day at work, swapping out depending what I’m doing.********
- AirPod Pros are obviously the choice when I want to block out my coworkers or any other sounds.********
- I use the EarPods for all calls because the sound quality from that mic is MUCH better and I like for people to hear me clearly********
- And lately sometimes I’ll wear the EarPods just for listening to music mostly because I don’t like having my ears plugged all day with the AirPods********
- I normally don't use earphones or headphones, I prefer to listen to myself...OBBTKN
- Me me me, and me... Sorry. A pair of cheap bluetooth earphones are the solution( for me) srly. don't buy unwired expensive ones you're going to lose them ;)OBBTKN
- ya I wouldn't want to pay too much for something that's expected to fail after a few years and also impractical to repair.pango
- I always buy second hand. The vastly reduced price is a fine tradeoff for a somewhat reduced lifespan. New Airpods are 260 USD, not paying that.jagara
- Get 'em; their indispensable personally and professionally. Meetings, running, cycling, etc.
I DO find them a bit quiet, BUT also think I'm going deaf!ideaist - ^ their = they're damnit!ideaist
- I have them. Best headphones. Pass thru works great.cannonball1978
