Have you noticed that none of the major news organizations have reported on the disturbing video circulating on Twitter? I’m not sharing it here because I believe it’s not in good taste, but it’s curious that the mainstream media hasn’t picked up the story.
I understand the intent might be to protect a marginalized community from potential backlash or hate crimes. However, it’s worth questioning why the response would likely be so different if the situation were reversed—where the media would prominently cover it, possibly without much concern for the risk of riots, looting, or unrest.
