    Well that was over in a blink of an eye after being dormant for the last few years.

    Not sure Syrians will be better or worse off now that Islamist have taken over.

    This was possible only because Putin is tied down in Ukraine at the moment.

    This might embolden other countries especially in the caucuses to go for independence again.

    • They will, of course, be worse off. Not just a a preoccupied Russia, but the rebels saw how weak Iran is with it;s dealing with Israel. And hezebola pretty deadGnash
