    • Had picked a frame from this https://i.imgur.com/… and redrew it with a better backgroundPhanLo
    • Dude - your style & technique have improved so much since you started posting your drawings. You could easily create a sci-fi comic book based on this one.uan
    • Cheers uan! It had been sitting on the board beside the computer for a while. So was good to get the drawing finished.PhanLo
    • I dig the muted colour, this is great.slappy
    • Yeah I actually like this colour palate.cruddlebub
    • I flat it out then use a gradient map to block in the colours, then tidy it up as I go.
You can get the mood pretty quick with the gradient maps

    • love the colors.thenohero
    • did you use ai for the basis for the movement?Nairn
    • and before anyone jumps on me, i'm asking because phanlo here is the one person I know who could entirely own AI and make it a mere Tool.Nairn
    • @Nairn I used a 3d model from a base mesh with the clothes added and them Mixamo for the walkscycle. Rendered in Blender then roto'd with Procreate.PhanLo
    • Tried a few AI attempts at walkcycles, but I like the control of having the real models and the ability to change lighting etc.
      Still quite kitbashy

    • The background street elements in the animation are AI images. I always use them as placeholders then get real images from streetview as proper ref.PhanLo
    • It will never not annoy me how broad your technique stretches, phanlo :) xNairn
    • Nice Phannyutopian
    • Amazing!Gabriel
