    This doesn't reinvent the wheel but I enjoyed it much more than I expected.

    Takes place between Alien and Aliens and felt younger and simpler in a good way. The pace, direction and acting are impeccable, engaging lead characters, the story makes sense, I was locked in.

      but the telecine/di/grade was too "bright" --- or the settings my tv wrong but they seem to be great for everything else ?      _me_
    • You're right, I had to stop at some point to check if HDR was off and went as far as comparing to the trailer which was much more contrasted.spl33nidoru

    • To me this didn't feel at all like a film from the same universe as all the other films. It was like one of those Disney Star Wars TV series only with the Alienwebazoot
