    I gotta say - I'm more than slightly tempted by the new MacMini. I've just had a look and even the most basic version would more than likely suffice for what I'd use it for - and if I understand right, the M-series chips utilise RAM much more efficiently than standard PCs, right?

    Heck I'm not even put off by the power button the bottom, haha.

    • It's true that ARM instructions use much less memory bandwidth than Intel; Still should get more than you need if you plan to have it 5+ years.evilpeacock
    • I've read that the low-end M4 chip outperforms the M2 Pro chip (which I have -- an M2 Pro Mini).Josev
