I used the trial version of Typeface to deactivate the system fonts in the "supplemental" folder (Mac OS).
Was tired of having to scroll down to many fonts in Illy and Affinity Designer.
Then, like 5 minutes later, I found out that I can use Font Book for the same (sort of) but that the collections in Font Book are available in Affinity Designer.
Also, in Font Base the Adobe Plugins will work for Affinity.
And last but not least, I found Typeface very interesting, even better than Font Base, lacking the Google function like the last but really powerful.
Cheers!
- How do you find Typeface in terms of resource use? Is it a resource pig like FontExplorer and Suitcase were?Continuity
- I can't say anything about Suitcase but it definitely isn't like FontExplorer but far more options than Font Base.oey_oey
