This is a press release for an event I am contributing to in early November.
In 2011Shane Quentin invited Graham Dowdall aka GAGARIN to play a live set for my Garden Of Earthly Delights radio show. Described on tunein.com, the Garden Of Earthly Delights "offers you a healthy dose of scratchy muffins, exclusive sessions, mixes and unpopular music."
Shane Quentin has built up a huge following and immense reputation over the past 30+ years. Best described as the underground John Peel. Those that need to know, know.
So it is with great pleasure & excitement that I can announce that Shane has produced an exclusive mix for Graham which will be premiered at the two 'In memory of Gagarin' events, next month.London - Friday 1st November @ Walthamstow Trades Hall

Graham was a brilliant musician, live performer, and community music practitioner. He was an original member of Ludus, played with John Cale, performed and wrote with Nico throughout the 1980s until her untimely death; and as well as his solo career, was a member of Pere Ubu from 2007. He died of cancer aged 69, earlier this year.
