- after eating this shit since '07 I'm over it!
I dig it but, a little fuckin' variety down here would be niceYakuZoku - I would kill for some Pho or a little Tikka Masala or something ffsYakuZoku

- no idea what that shit is, but it sure as hell isn't the sort of food i ate in mexicohans_glib
- @hans I'm jealous! To me, really proper Mexican food is, like ... nirvana.
Not unlike Japanese food.Continuity - i made a banging birria de res the other day. with homemade corn tacos, and lightly pickled jalapeño slices for a bit of fresh. fucking acehans_glib

Just. So. Moreish.Continuity - We'd better be careful, though ... our Nairn is dying to try birria but still hasn't, and will probably want to eat his monitor if he reads this.Continuity
- yep your recipe looks pretty much the same. i love the the colour of that sauce when the chillies etc have been rehydrated and processed - so deep and rich!hans_glib
- but the pickled jalapeños and home made tacos are definitely what brings the dish alive. i tried that soaking / refrying of the tortillas but it's sooo messyhans_glib
- either way a amillion milkes from that grey looking shit that sarah's postedhans_glib
- The pickled jalapeños I need to try making, don't think such a thing exists here in Germanland.Continuity
- Also, the one step I didn't take that's in your recipe is toasting the onions, garlic, and tomatoes. This sounds like a pro move. I'll need to do it next time.Continuity
