  Is there any point having a job these days? I feel like even having a decent job is not enough to get a decent bank loan and buy a house, afford groceries and maybe go on vacation once a year. Unless I'm willing to sell my soul to big corps, which sounds dreadful. Plus, companies treat employees like shit and pretend to be surprised when people ask for a promotion or raise. Is freelancing still an option?
