Help needed!
Long ago when I used to do a lot of headshot editing in PS, I'd use a technique to soften the edges of hair, shoulders, etc that involved deleting the background so that the portrait is isolated and above a white background.
Then, I'd select that space around the head (like, the inverse of the head itself), and I'd just hit delete a few times, with some setting that would feather the edges of the head so that all the edges softened up.
It's been like 15 years or more since I last did that and I can't remember how to do it. Anyone know what I'm talking about or how I'd do that? I like that method because it's more consistent than using the eraser. I'm basically softening all the edges around the hair, neck, shoulders.
Totally clueless about how I did that.
- Disregard. I figured it out. Totally different from how it used to be done. https://www.skillsha…mg33
- I personally would never delete anything mate. Use a mask, it comes with feather settings.HAYZ1LLLA
