WebComic - The Ring of Sakuntala - Various Artists
On their website they comment about the collaborative work: "The story of "Sakuntala's Ring" is based on Kalidasa's drama "Sakuntala". It is one of the most famous love stories in world literature. The Bayerisches Staatsballett commissioned the illustrations for the revival of the ballet "La Bayadère" in May 2023. Seven illustrators have each illustrated one act of Kalidasa's "Sakuntala" in their own style. Click on the acts, look at the images and listen to Renu Hossain's sound design. He worked with a recording of "La Bayadère" with the Bavarian State Orchestra. In the menu you can not only choose the language, but also show or hide the informative texts and music.
