One disconnect IMO is that these technologies are being positioned as something that will change the world, revolutionize entire industries, kill all of us etc...but typing in text prompts feels like a weirdly inefficient method.

It's fine when you just want to generate something like with these Sora demos but most of the time with work you need to create something specific.

    • Typing text prompt is going to be replaced by something else or it's going to be easier.
      This is just the beginning.

    • Yeah, probably voice prompting in a few years - ask Siri and you shall receive...grafician
    • ...or that scene from Blade Runnergrafician
    • Voice prompting is basically the same thing. Maybe I'm wrong and this will still be how it's done in the future but IMO using informal language is neveryuekit
    • going to be a very efficient approach. Imagine trying to generate a website or create a film just through prompting.yuekit
