I hate how we just openly accept that part of our democracy is that politicians get to ruthlessly attack their opponents and then suddenly overnight they can endorse them.
DeSantis in October:
“Let’s just be honest, Trump energized Democrats. You could have John Kennedy walk through the door right now and he wouldn’t energize Democrats as much as Donald Trump does.”
Then he called Trump a failure for not getting the wall done, blamed Trump for inflation, said he’s too old and not mentally fit to be president.
And suddenly today he quits and endorses Trump.
Don’t get me started on that fucking pathetic cuck Ted Cruz. That guy should be so embarrassed that he walks away from public life forever.
Anyway, what a dumb thing we allow. Instead, DeSantis should be called out as the two-faced liar he is and that’s the end of his political career. Thats how it should be. If we, the voters, made that happen, then all the primary debates would be far more civil and useful.
