note that there are close to ~1000 functions on an airplane which you can fly without :)

Due to the lack of certified maintenance, on January 12, three breakdowns occurred on Pobeda Airlines flights in just six hours, according to Russian mass media.

An alarm was declared at Cheboksary airport after the flight arriving from Moscow landed. The cause was a fire in the main landing gear. The plane was towed from the runway to the aircraft parking area.

Flying over the Omsk region, the crew of the Moscow-Barnaul flight reported a failure of the right on-board inertial system. The plane also signaled that it was impossible to perform an automatic landing. As a result, the aircraft landed in Novosibirsk.

Pilots of the Moscow-Ufa flight reported the smell of burnt wiring in the toilet while flying over Chuvashia region. The plane nevertheless landed in Ufa.

    • Are Russian flights still banned to various countries around the world?Ianbolton
