I couldn’t help but notice something.

A few weeks ago, my furthest-left friends were posting to social media about how laws forcing school boards to inform parents of transgender leanings in their kids is “anti-human rights”. The commonly re-shared post said that even “using the phrase ‘parental rights’ is anti-human rights”.

Couldn’t help but notice those same friends were VERY quick to post in defense of Palestine, within 24 hours of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. No one had the full picture or accurate information but these friends had already made up their mind. Who’s good and who’s evil and they immediately post their own “truths” to the world.

These are people I consider friends, or at least in the past they were, but their politics have gone so far left that they’ve completely lost a sense of perspective. I know these people, and if you call them out they will dig their heels in, they’ll call you a racist, they’ll say Israel is the terrorist, etc. These are people with have masters and even PhDs. But theyre no different than the keyboard warriors of the MAGA.

Mostly it makes me think, “can everyone just shut the fuck up?” We’re all entitled to our opinions but it would be nice if people would learn to listen and feel instead of reacting and weighing in on everything.

    • That's pretty much what QBN is. You can check the first page of this thread and see who was immediately on to blame Israel for everything.NBQ00
    • Qbn isn’t as bad. I didn’t see anyone here posting that nonsense about “parental rights” as “anti-human rights”nb
    • Probably wrong thread sorrynb
    • what's worse is seeing everyone blindly supporting israel without knowing shit about shit.doesnotexist
    • I don’t know if that’s worse. Basically the samenb
    • yeah, it's worse. getting bent out of shape over "parental rights, etc" is a first world problem. supporting israel because it's israel is not the same thing.doesnotexist
