    question for PhanLo and other muralists on here, I've read somewhere that artists get $ 20-60 per sq foot depending on skill level reputation etc, is this about right? how many paid commissions do you do and how many do you do for free/exposure?

    so a wall on the side of a 5 story building can earn you like $75k in the mid-range?

    • I've painted a gable for £1000 before, 4 stories, did that so I could get the experience of using a lift. After that mostly it's about 5-6 grand.PhanLo
    • but painting mega murals is rare where I live, folk just won't pay and the planning is a nightmare. Unless it's for a drinks company, then it's money talks.PhanLo
