ok - I gave it one last chance, and I managed to HIT the ball - but I don't see why ? it just not an onion is it? where you can take it layer by layer, more like a pancake - in concept - which I'm presuming isnt yours - the workings of it, graphics n all are good & simple [once mastering the hitting action], I just don't see the why...
