    My Raspberry Pi running pihole finally shat itself last week. I did not realise how much garbage it was filtering out of my browsing experience until I went without it for a week.

    I just installed pihole on my Synology NAS using docker (which was a fairly simple process) and not only are the ads gone again, but browsing has sped up a little with a faster processing assisting with DNS services. That might be confirmation bias, but who cares, I'm glad all the ads are gone again.
