Case 2: Eric Adams
In 2021, Mayor Eric Adams of New York portrayed the city as a sanctuary for migrants, even proudly declaring his support as buses filled with migrants arrived in 2022.However, his stance shifted dramatically two days ago when, faced with an influx of 60,000 migrants, he expressed deep concern about the ongoing crisis, stating that he saw no end in sight and feared it would ultimately lead to the destruction of New York City.
