I will say this - there's a Reddit sub I check that that seems to be fairly balanced in the horrid reports it shares each day. I generally feel it's Russia-leaning, if anything.

In recent days/weeks, the balance beween pro RU and pro UKR seems to be settling in the latter's favour.

At the start of the counter-offensive, it was beginning to look very bleak. Very, very bleak.

Nowadays, I just scan the headlines there and mentally count and move on. I can't do witnessing any more people - Ukrainian or Russian - lose their lives over this shit, as much as I feel it's important to do so, in a horrid way.

The one thing this mess (and all the others before, in the middle east etc) has shown me is how unhelpful it is to sanitise media for general consumption. People need to know how horrid this all shit actually is.

    • This, 100%. I also wish they put the results of mass shootings in print. People need to see what they enablerobotinc
    • ^+ Yup, if people saw what weapons really do they might be hesitant to buy their 10 yo AR-15's and Call of Duty at the same time.formed
