I've hit the gym every day this week.

    My routine is a simple:
Run: 1000m in under 5 minutes.
Row: 1000m in under 4 minutes.
    Cycle: 6000m in 10 minutes.
Weights: until I can't feel my body.

    Today I feel exhausted.

    • Re: 6km Cycle - is that on a machine? ';cos it takes me nearly that to do 3½km on an uber bike going home, I think.Nairn
    • 36kmh or 20mph is a pretty decent pace to hold for 10 minutes straight, depending on the resistance of the machine.BuddhaHat
    • it's a hill climb thing on the machines. No stop-start in traffic etc. Either way, my body is not happy today. I ache like fuck. Playing football this evening!Ianbolton
    • and the bike must be set to 'least resistance' for most of the session as it's not that hardIanbolton
    • You do all that in one workout? Fucking hell. How long is the weights part of it? What are you fitness goals, exactly?Continuity
    • 25-35 mins. I don't really smash the weights. It's more for cardio as I want to be able to do the 5km park run under 25 mins like I used to be able to do.Ianbolton
    • Aha, OK. Because otherwise, all of that cardio would actually be counter-productive to muscle-building.Continuity
