The Kremlin tried to negotiate with Prigozhin in the first hours of his armed uprising - "Important Stories"

The publication "Important Stories," citing a source close to the presidential administration, reports that at the very beginning of Yevgeny Prigozhin's demarche, the Kremlin tried to negotiate with him. In particular, he was offered to "back off," and all of his published messages could be explained by hacking of his account and voice falsification.

According to the source, Prigozhin refused to accept the terms offered to him by the presidential administration, after which Vladimir Putin
ordered to initiate a criminal case against him and "deal with it the hard way".

The publication "Important Stories" notes that some Telegram channels - in particular, the "Talking Topaz" channel - even began to spread the presidential administration's version of the fake voice. It was reposted by the Rybar channel, which is close to the Defense Ministry (over a million subscribers).
