    fisheye,

It's so funny you posted that. Last week, I heard someone comment on how dated the Tesla design is already. Once they said that, every time I saw one I couldn't unsee it. I've always been indifferent to them and probably enjoyed the interior and the digital UI than the outside, from the few times I've been in Uber's that were Teslas.

But now I find it crazy that they haven't redesigned the cars AT ALL. Every one on the road feels like a design that's a decade old.

    • I guess everyone sees the UI part of the car, including me. I wonder what would be an outcome if the designer Lesnik from Mercedes Benz would be involved...fisheye
    • ... this is exactly the vibe I would go forfisheye
    • Wouldnt buy a tesla for the looks. Would be buying it for the supercharger network and associated tech.microkorg
    • The electric Mercedes look like trash. A new tesla design is coming soon, there are leaked photos online.Frosty_spl
    • @Frosty The point is elsewhere.fisheye
    • Why would a redesign be needed? Just for the novelty? Innovation never sleeps?
Redesigning is just part of the market model.

    • There are finally a few decent-looking EV's, but until recently the S was the nicest, by far, looking EV on the market.formed
    • Tesla has been super smart - unique designs gives them a brand presence, even if most aren't that good looking (stll better than crap like the Mustang E).formed
    • If sustainability is part of the brand a sustainable design is one that doesn't need to be updated every year.palimpsest
