Turns out his firing wasn't a condition of the settlement with Dominion but had more to do with racist texts Carlson had sent that were going to come up in the trial.
I know people will try to come up with creative interpretations of this but at some point you have to call a spade a spade...Tucker Carlson most likely did hold white nationalist leaning views.
The themes were constantly there in his show (Great Replacement Theory etc), his lead writer was fired for pulling content from far-right forums, he casually makes a comment like this suggesting he views the world in racial terms.
The fact that a crypto-white nationalist became the most popular cable news show in America is a troubling detail that you can guarantee the US news media won't talk about much.
