When trying to do pixel art in MidJourney you won't get true solid pixels. It will be something that LOOKS like true pixels but when you zoom in you'll see it isn't.I use plugins that I have for After Effects for emulating pixel art from various machines from over the years.
So I'll take an AI output which is close to what I want then run it through the plugin for 'actual' pixels.

Pixelate does 'pixelate' but it doesn't emulate pixel art dither, palettes etc.microkorg - Pretty sure it's this I use...
