    Detained individual attempted to smuggle 239 13th Gen Intel CPUs.

    Over the past few months, China has given birth to several crazy stories about individuals attempting to smuggle tech hardware. The constricted supply of semiconductors and processors in China post the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a surge in such cases of trafficking.

    Few months ago, we reported about a "pregnant" lady smuggling 202 Intel Alder Lake CPU processors and 9 iPhones by hiding her contraband inside her fake stomach. The smuggle came to light, when customs officials found her pregnant appearance suspicious.
