Listening to this as I googled him as he was part of an .. arts collective (agh) ran by people I knew way back, so he was part of my periphery a decade and more ago. This is very much not my thing, and in fact presses lots of "No, just fuck off Xander" buttons, but I can't help but admit is very impressive. Very well done.
Any of you music making nerds - what's a basic set up to recreate what he's doing here? He has three, maybe four, widget boxes in front of him. A mixer, I'm guessing in the middle. A sampler to our right, maybe? What's the thing to our left that he's 'developing' the sounds with? And are they all sat on a keyboard?
What sort of mic does he have that picks up noises well close to the mouth/throat?
