Now seriously (it's long but explains a lot of our feelings):
I'm Uruguayan... for moments distanced and fiercely fighting with our Argentinian brothers for stupid prices.. Even though, we're just a couple nations with an almost identical heritage, a HUGE surface / area difference, and most importantly: LOADS of common history. Gardel, Dulce de leche, Tango, Milanesas.
The "united provinces of the Rio de la Plata", where Artigas desired a federation of various provinces, (similar to the United States), all allied to repel Spanish colonialist forces, in order to achieve our own independence from Spanish invaders.
Since we're (Uruguay) the -very- little brothers (even called "a province" once in a while), the bond which these two nations forged is still strong and beautiful after 200 years. We love each other.
Felicidades hermanos Argentinos!!!
