Bitcoin is like investing in Vintage Dinky Cars.

    There's limited supply.

You can't buy it in a tax free wrapper (ISA in UK for example).

There's no real use to it (can't even 'flip' a bitCOIN to decide who kicks off a football game... can't do the commute in a Dinky Car).

It's attractive to nerds and dorks and those involved at the top look weird (SBF, Vitalik Buterin for example).

It's bad for the environment - uses energy to be realised.

    • It doesn't grow or pay dividends, you have 1 bitcoin / 1 dinky car today... in a decade, you still have 1 bitcoin / 1 dinky car.shapesalad
    • You can easily bring them across boarders (stuff a dinky car in your pocket for example).shapesalad
    • You can lose them easily!shapesalad
