Why can’t Netflix produce good movies?
They’ve produced some decent tv and documentaries where the bar for quality is much, much lower. But they suck at movies. What’s the problem over there, they have tons of money for content, they’re obviously an excellent product company. What is standing in the way of making good movies (or finding good movies and buying them?)
Just watched The Good Nurse which is an incredible story but a very poorly made movie. It’s a true serial killer story and they managed to make it completely boring. Not to mention it looks like a mediocre tv show from a third rate network. The script is awful, lazy and boring.
Are there any good Netflix-produced (or owned) movies??? What’s wrong over there?

- I thought the Good Nurse was a brilliant film. Started out a bit slow. It felt to me like the style represented the story well, but the actors did carry itIanbolton
- Helps to have world-class actors, no doubt. They wasted that story on a lazy script. Completely forgettable movie. Disposable content. :(********
