    I'm pretty sure I asked this about 5-10 years ago, but..

    Do any of you guys use AliExpress? If so, is it generally trustworthy? Any pitfalls to watch out for?

    There's a high powered laser diode unit I want to buy and then likely blind myself with, but I've no experience with AliExpress beyond some girl on the bus the other day saying "They were only 15p each on AliExpress!".

    • normally you find different sellers for same product. check shipping costs. look at reviews. also, check if the laser power is legal in the UK.uan
    • if not, customs might take it and fine you.uan
    • don't store cc number with them. cloth sizes are different than EU/UK. It take months to get the stuff. It was faster 3 years ago. that's my exp.uan
    • read the product descriptions, i mean read it not just scan :) oh and check if you can import that specific product.
