And remember, how a nuclear war plays out (what Russia is now openly threatening) has a lot to do with who knows what.

They announce Snowden's Russian citizenship a few days before the annexation of Ukrainian territory, is it a coincidence? Maybe...

But I think Snowden's refusal to speak out while other Russian citizens are risking their lives to protest is damning enough.

    • Never mind the fact that Snowden is privvy to untold numbers of US state secrets, probably. To call him a Russian asset now wouldn't be much of a stretch.Continuity

    • What do you mean, of course it has to do with the war. USA has actually said that even if Russia uses a nuke they won't respond with nuclear weaponsyuekit
    • Probably an overwhelming conventional military response instead. So the nightmare scenario in this video might not come true. But Putin keeps threatening it.yuekit
    • rassa does that since day 1. and have to keep the discussion on the table.

    • Right now they're saying that if Ukraine attacks the annexed territories they may escalate to nuclear war. And annexation could happen as soon as this weekend.yuekit
    • Chances are it's nonsense but seems foolish to just ignore it completely or how gaining access to US military secrets may have influenced their thinking.yuekit
