it's really hard to get a feel for how all of this is going to turnout.
i talk to people about bush regularly on the subway - i think there's a pretty strong anti-bush majority. if everyone in the country voted, the democrats would win easily.
but the apathy of some people always seems to amaze me. out of all the strangers i've talked too about the election, i'd say i got the impression that about half of them would actually go out and vote.
if the democrats want something to panic about, it should be voter turnout. they shouldn't leave it to mtv.
