If I bought an Apple Studio, hooked it up to a monitor - had it in room A.
Could I have a monitor in room B, with keyboard and mouse - and somehow wirelessly be able to use the Apple Studio - without having to move it?
Problem I'm trying to solve, I get sunlight in the AM in my home office, sunlight in the PM in living room... I like working in the sunlight, it's kinda miserable in the afternoon, working in a dark shady room when it's sunny out.
I don't want to have to unplug and move everything...
- I could get a laptop... but preferring not to.shapesalad
- Ummm. Could you use an Apple TV to mirror your display to the other room? I guess you could but there might be a bit of lag.monospaced
- But to “run” a display correctly you’re always best with an actual cable.monospaced
- They do make wireless monitors that work over wifi. I would imagine you could set it up to mirror the display in the other room.duckseason
- No idea about quality, OS support etcduckseason

- 10m cable https://www.amazon.c…shapesalad
- Long ass cable ftwnb
- That’s HDMI 1.4. It’s not high bandwidth. Get a 4K certified cable no less. You need the faster spec for the kind of data you’re sending. Trust me.monospaced
- But I think an Apple TV might be easier for true wireless and it comes with some other perks.monospaced
