Some girl in the train is sitting in front of me and I can see her phone screen. I don’t really watch the details but it’s in my field of view so I can recognize what’s going on more or less.
In this one hour train ride she’s been probably writing 100’s of quick messages back and forth on instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat and so on. Just flipping and switching from one app to another and from one person she’s chatting to another. In between she’s browsing feeds (looking at other people’s posts & pictures and videos) for a couple of seconds before messaging again.
FFS, what has this world come to. Kill me now.
